& Gas Trust is pleased to be participating in an educational forum
for investors, along with most other oil and gas trusts.
The Oil + Gas Trust Symposium will take place on Monday, September
18, 2006 at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary. Among the speakers
are Craig Natland - Tax Partner at KPMG, Chris Kowalski - Vice President
of McDaniel and Associates, Menal Patel - Research Analyst at National
Bank Financial, Brian Prokop - Institutional Salesman at Canaccord
Capital, Dr. Peter Chant - Partner at Deloitte & Touche, and Grant
Hofer - Trust Analyst at Scotia Capital. These industry professionals
will describe the trust structure and how it differs from a corporation,
the significance of reserve life index, valuation measures other than
yield, and the sustainability of distributions.
The Symposium will conclude with a panel discussion on "The Risks
and Rewards of Trust Investing" featuring Scott Jarvis of SoundVest
Capital Management, Glen McNeill of Sentry Select Capital, Judith
Dwarkin of RossSmith Energy Group, and Mark Bridges of CIBC World
Markets. In addition, members of senior management of the participating
trusts will be available to meet with investors over the lunch hour.
The Oil + Gas Trust Symposium is designed to provide investment
advisors, wealth managers and individual investors with a better
understanding of oil and gas trusts and how they ensure long-term
returns to their unitholders. The Symposium is open to all members of
the public although attendance is limited. Event registration is $25.00
