Construction Superintendent, Saskatchewan (contract position)
 

Reporting to the Manager, Integrity Engineering, you will be based in Saskatchewan and responsible for the effectiveness of NAL’s Saskatchewan construction activities involving facilities and pipeline construction.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

• The effective management of a team of construction inspectors.
• Execution and cost effectiveness of field construction.
• Onsite safety promotion and development of a positive safety culture among construction teams and contract crews.

To qualify for this position, you have a minimum of 15 years of related experience as a certified Journeyman, Steamfitter / Pipe-fitter, or have completed a two-year technical diploma in mechanical or welding technology, or equivalent training.  You also have proven experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements in the execution of facility / pipeline projects related to oil and gas construction.  A strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products including MS Project and Outlook is required.
